WHAT IS BARK MADNESS?

Bark Madness is a friendly competition among the native and popular trees in Central Texas. The trees competing are not individual ones but TYPES. These tree families are working towards being crowned as the 2024 Bark Madness Cambiumship.

Last year, the noble Live Oak won over the other 15 tree species and was crowned the 2023 champion. This year, 16 other trees have the chance to prove if they have what it takes to claim the top spot!

The matches start on March 11 from 9 AM to 9 PM. The votes will be tallied at the end of the day, helping the winning tree move to the next round. Read below the match schedule and the trees competing for your votes:

  • Sap 16 | March 11th-18th

  • Evergreen 8 | March 19th-22nd

  • Florescent 4 | March 25th-26th

  • Third Place | March 27th

  • Cambiumship | March 28th
